Baby Girl

Hello Everyone,
Well I have eventually scrapped a page with the new Serendipity Papers, stamps, stencil and the beautiful new Rose Gold - Metallic Tape. The papers I have used are Chevron and Spots. These papers are a must for female pages especially little girls. The stamp I have used is called Love and Hugs Un-Cut Set (3). I stamped the flowers with Distress Oxide - Vintage Photo. The Stencil I have used is the new stencil Script - Strength. Using Gesso I simply placed the stencil  over my page and using a palette knife randomly placed pieces of the text on the layout. The paper flowers are painted in Distress Oxide Faded Jeans and Dylusions Ink Spray Pomegranate Seed. If you like this page please feel free to copy it. If you require any of the products used on this page hop on over to my Online Store at www.kaszazz.com/consultant/kerry-neilly.

I hope you enjoy my page

Scrap It With Attitude February Challenge

Goodmorning Everyone,

Well it has been six months since I have posted on my blog. I have had a hiccup with my blog which I was unable to fix up until today. Well hopefully everything will go well and I will be back in business. This is my entry into the "Scrap It With Attitude, February Challenge. My page was scrapped using Blue Fern Studio Paper - Verandah. It such lovely paper. There was a challenge picture and this is my interpretation of the Sketch.

My Page
Three products had to be used on your page. Feathers which I cut out with my Silhouette Cameo. They are coming out from the flowers on the top photo and flower arrangement. Brads - I used Silver Heart Brads which hand from the bottom of Twine and thirdly Twine was to be used on the layout. Then using Perfect Pearls layered dots in half circles. The flowers I have used are Prima Flowers. I have recently purchased myself a Silhouette Cameo and have found it invaluable with my scrapbooking. Thank you for looking at my page and I will be posting again soon.

Paper Roses - Monthly Kit Club

JUST TOO CUTE

Good Morning Everyone.

Well the weather is glorious up here in Far North Queensland, Australia, after a very long hot dry summer. We have had lovely rain to green everything up. Today I am featuring the page - Just Too Cute - I purchased from The Scrapbook Club. Sometimes it is just nice to site down with all the  papers etc., and just scrap a page without too much thought. The papers used in this Kit were from Kaisercraft collection: Collectable, Treat, Snapshot and urio. The chipboard used was from WOW and I just loved the dark blue pearls which matched the page perfectly. I used a 4"x6" photo for this layout. I am getting their kits once a month for the lazy days of scrapbooking I sometimes do. Hope you all enjoy this page and enjoy looking at my pages on the blog. Thank you.

Baby Boy

Goodmorning Everyone,

Today I am featuring three pages we are doing in my Scrapbooking Class this week, the ladies have a choice of whatever one they would like or do their own design. I am teaching different ways to use Texture Paste. We are starting off by making our own Homemade Texture Paste by Gabrielle Polacco. It is a beautiful smooth and easy to use paste, great for beginners. For this particular page I added Gold Craft Paint instead of White Craft Paint. I saw this particular design on Pinterest and decided to do a similar page to the one I was looking at. I applied the texture paste using stencils and then while still wet, sprinkled over the wet paste Gold Glitter. I added a gold flower I had in my stash and embossed the stamp "Just so you know, I think you're Perfect" with Gold Embossing Powder. It is a very simple page, but looks so pretty with the Glitter.

My second page I did, I used my Brick Wall Stencil. I added Kaisercraft Mocha Paint when making my texture paste. When dry I then roughly coloured bricks with Distress Ink - Vintage Photo. Then with my finger rubbed over each brick with Gold Perfect Pearls. I wanted to put something on the wall, then decided to use my Ivy Die and some dark green cardstock, and hang it down from the top of the wall. Being a little girl photo I added some flowers to the Ivy to brighten the page.

ONE OF A KIND

My third display page is done using the Kaisercraft Die - Butterflies. I applied the white texture paste to my white cardstock and then when dry sprayed it with Lindy's Stamp Gang Starburst -Cotton Candy Pink. The Chipboard Circle is from Blue Fern Studios. I painted the Chipboard white and then added pink glitter randomly over the chipboard. It is a simple page but effective, I have two beginners starting on Saturday and thought this page would be an easy one for them to do.

BALLET CLASS

I did these three backgrounds then put them under a heavy book for a couple of days and when I removed them the cardstock was nice and even again. Thank you for taking the time to look at my pages and I hope you enjoy your time on Scrappy Hollow. I have posted Gabrielle Polaccos recipe for the Homemade Texture Paste on my blog but for anyone who wants to try it out here it is again.
